We Launched!

The Sunday Rise Foundation officially launched on Sunday October 18, 2020.

The Sunday Rise Foundation is an organization honoring the life transformation of Valerie P. Ivey. She wanted to be remembered by the butterfly and its transformation from what appeared to be a difficult situation to be revealed into a new life of peaceful bliss and freeness.

‘The Butterfly Experience’ is our social media tag describing any transformation that is unique to each of you. It is an experience that you and God are engaged, yet it is one that others get to see and appreciate.

It is my hope, as the founder, to highlight as many transformations as possible while everyone is alive and healthy. Making ways for you to partner and network, to learn self-worth, to exhibit strength and to share community love, in all our social, human and community spaces. These endeavors will serve as our butterfly base to fund our mission of supporting a hospice family in their time of need.

Hospice is a difficult time in a family’s life. It is a time where time speeds up and gives us no warning on the hours or minutes, we have with our loved ones in hospice care.

The Sunday Rise Foundation wants to make the hospice transition more comfortable so family members can enjoy their loved one without having to think about the day-to-day activities of this life.

We all get one shot of this life. We all will do things that we are not proud of and yet there are many great things that will carry our legacy on throughout the generations. The special moment of hospice is God allowing families time to settle indifferences, shared stories and to bless their loved ones into their new spiritual peace.

As The Sunday Rise Foundation begins to help others understand hospice, we want to remind everyone that we should all work transformation into our daily lives. We will conduct virtual sessions to help others “Create their own butterfly story.” These stories will be featured on our Blog. We want to share these stories, so others will read and engage in the butterfly experience, showing that a transformation here on earth is necessary for ultimate peace. Stories will include Grassroot Networks, Congratulating Graduates, Deliverance Dance, Financially Free, Blow the Lung, and other creative topics that will keep us mentally, physically and spiritually strong to flap our butterfly wings.

Please take a moment of silence for all those in hospice, those suffering with COVID19 and those that are ill in homes and hospitals today where their loved ones cannot be presence.

Our first Chalkboard session will be held December 13, 2020 to educate others on hospice.
