Divine Assignments - New Podcast Alert
I have a friend who resides in California and for years she has called me, sent cards, or gifted me with wonderful mandarins and pistachios grown right from her family’s farm. Every time I received her messages, gifts or talked with her about Jesus Calling, it was at a time when I had shouted out to God that I needed to hear from Him. Years later my friend told me that God had given her Divine Assignments and I was one of them. I thought, huh..? But as I began to grow in His grace, I understood that He places everyone exactly where He wants them to be. We all have divine assignments that are ordered for God’s purposes only.
The Sunday Rise Foundation (TSRF) has a divine assignment. It is to inspire others through difficult times. Through our services and partnerships, we want to help push the real hard experiences out of the cocoon and invoke the butterfly experience!
We accepted our divine assignment and on February 21, 2021, we kicked off our monthly Chalkboard Session via Zoom.
The Chalkboard sessions are dedicated times where we merge experience and expertise to help enlighten others though various hardships. We talk about the things that people do not want to talk about and together we highlight ways to understand and transform though the hardship.
Mrs. Sonji Brown (a limited term lecturer at Georgia State University and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker) delivered a spectacular overview of hospice, grief, and loss. Her discussion enlightened our guests on the various forms of grief and loss, helping us to understand our true struggle and letting us know it is ok to not be ok!
She was amazing!
Mrs. Brown was given a divine assignment in this inaugural session and when you listen, you will understand! That being said, I am pleased to announce that The Sunday Rise Foundation Chalkboard Podcast was launched from this very session.
