“Choosing to heal our hearts, minds, and bodies is an act of spiritual warfare and righteous resistance.” - KSB.

As a budding psychologist, mental health practitioner, and a woman of faith and restorative justice, Koree S. Badio has embarked on a life-long commitment to foster and facilitate psychological liberation at the individual, group, and systemic level. Her personal and professional pursuit of mental wellness began back in 2017 when she founded Stand Together And Resist the Stigma or STARS, a student-led organization that aimed to de-stigmatize and normalize non-judgemental conversations about mental health within the Black community at Georgia State University. Presently, Koree organizes virtual peer support groups centered on Black women's holistic health and serves as the program coordinator for a mental health clinic at Emory University School of Medicine.

Moreover, In light of Koree's continued investment in mental health, she will resume her academic journey this upcoming fall as an incoming Ph.D. student in Counseling Psychology at the University of Florida. It is her greatest ambition to provide a healing space for underserved communities, and she hopes to utilize her expertise in Psychology to support an even bigger purpose- to promote the healing of humanity.
